Jeff is an experienced product and business leader in the sporting goods and outdoor industry. Over his nearly 20 year career, he has held various roles across product innovation, creation and management, as well as merchandising and category management in both the US and in Germany. He has led multiple sport categories to sales and market share growth, and has created products for some of the best athletes in the world. Jeff is currently leading the product innovation team at adidas in Portland, focusing on the key US Sports of football, basketball, baseball, softball, and volleyball.

 

Jeff is a native Oregonian born and raised in a small farming community in the Willamette Valley. The outdoors have been a part of his life from a young age, with family vacations consisting of rafting trips down the John Day River, clam digging at Fort Stevens, skiing at Hoodoo, backpacking on the PCT, among many other activities. This upbringing has given Jeff a deep understanding of what Oregon has to offer from an outdoor sports and recreation perspective, and he is excited to bring this passion together with his industry experience to the OOA, helping to create a thriving and sustainable outdoor business community.
